The parade started at 10 am and ran until just after Noon with over 25 boats and the Coast Guard taking the lead.  It departed Old Town Florence and proceeded up-river to Cushman.  It then turned down-river past Old Town to the Coast Guard station and returned to Old Town.  The 101 bridge was opened twice to allow the parade to pass.

The Port of Siuslaw generously waived overnight moorage fees on Friday the 18th and Saturday the 19th for all boats participating in the boat parade.  We had entries from as far away as Newport, Corvallis and Winchester Bay.  The Coast Guard, State Police, Siuslaw Valley Fire Department and Florence Marine Construction all had boats in the parade.
